How much are the groomsmen spending?

Hey guys! I wanted to see how much your groomsmen are spending to outfit themselves for your wedding. What is the cost of their suit/tux plus accessories?

Our guys wore black suites that they already owned so they didn't spend anything.

That's great! That would go under the "free" category. We tried to do the same thing, but two of the groomsmen didn't own any suits. So we looked for suits to rent, but couldn't find anything. Finally we decided to rent tuxes for $76 each (tax and accessories included). They all seemed happy with the tux and price.

Our guys are getting dress pants, shirts and vests, we're buying their ties and shoes.

The guys went shopping on their own and bought expensive jCrew pants, so that bumped our price up- I told them to go to TJMaxx or Marshall's, they end up at jCrew LMAO

Technically free, since we got his free for renting everyone else's. But since we paid for everyone else's, his share was about $100.

We are having them rent tuxes from Men's Wearhouse. I think it is like $149 for the tux that FI chose. I think this is about average, that's what FI has spent when he's been in weddings. They have cheaper tuxes (like $129?) but he liked the Calvin Klein one.

I put $150 but we covered the costs for all our guys. FI figured the dresses for the girls were something they would own after and he couldn't see asking guys to spend that much for one day and not get anything after it was all said and done.

Ours are spending $145 for Calvin Klein tuxes that are lightweight since it'll be outside and at the end of June. My boss' sister is getting married the same day as me and he said the tuxes she chose are costing them $280 to rent! I think that's over the top and selfish of her considering most bridesmaids don't have to fork over that much money on a dress they get to keep!

The GMs paid $100, but the actual cost of the suit the guys got (and get to keep) was $250.

$150 for a CK from Mens Wearhouse. It's more than I wanted them to cost, but we didnt' like the less expensive suits as much as the ones FI chose. We did check with the guys to make sure the price was okay, though.
