Wedding Jewelry?

How much did you spend on your wedding jewelry? When I made our budget, I wasn't really sure how much to put aside. I have found some gorgeous pieces but I don't really know how much to spend.

Re: Wedding Jewelry?

  • My earrings were $50, my hair comb was $30, and a brooch for my dress was $12.  I'm not sure if I'll wear a necklace or not yet.  Look on Etsy and Ebay, you can find some really great pieces of jewelry on both of those sites if you have a tight budget.

  • I don't have a budget for it either but I've definitely been stalking Etsy!

  • I haven't even looked at it yet honestly. I don't want to do big earrings because the way my hair will be done will guaruntee that any dangly earrings will get caught in it, so I might save the money and wear small blue topaz studs as my "something blue." I have considered not wearing a necklace either because there is a lot of detail along the bust of my dress and I don't want anything to detract from that. Not sure on that yet.
  • I am doing earrings and a bracelet. I have NEVER bought jewelry for myself, so I just don't know how much is normal/average? I don't mind spending money, I am not looking for anything that may be cheap looking, I just don't know how much to spend. Maybe I should of added a poll? hahaha

I am still undecided on my jewerly but I did see some nice pieces that were not bad priced on USABrides.com.

  • I bought earrings, a bracelet and a headband on Etsy for just under $75.  I'll probably borrow a necklace from my mother if I decide to wear one.

My dress is pretty huge and has a lot going on and I plan to have BIG hair, so I'm just wearing a pair of tear drop dangly earrings that I bought off etsy and a glitsy headband. The earrings were 40 dollars with shipping and the headband was 200.

I spent less than $50, and am wearing earrings and a bracelet.  I also counted my hair flower in my jewelry budget and still stayed under.  My bracelet is from Etsy, earrings are from Dessy, and hair flower is from H&M.
  • Bought a headband on etsy for about $30 and the vendor threw in free earrings.  Won't be wearing a necklace since the beading on the top of my dress is quite intricate.
  • I went on etsy and I bought a necklace, earrings, braclette & a hair comb for $300
  • Earrings- $35 (Dillards)
    Bracelet- $15 (NY and Co)
    Comb- $25 (etsy)

  • I spent $90.00 for an earing & necklace set.   The flower for my hair was $100.00, but I would have NEVER paid that.  The bridal store gave me a 50 dollar gift certificate.  The flower is ivory with pearls & bling in the center.  So, I was willing to pay 50.00, but would have never paid  $100.00!
  • I was going to use my mom's pearl necklace and bracelet, then buy some pearl earrings because her earrings are studs and I want dangly ones. Well as I was going to look at earrings FI told me he is buying me a set as a wedding gift. He wanted it to be a surprise but didn't want me to buy anything. So we looked together and I picked out what I liked. He is also getting our daughter a matching necklace, then she can wear it at her own wedding some day =) He's just so sweet, love him.

  • I worked in a jewelry store for years so my jewelry is turning into the hardest decision to make. I think my earrings will be around $80 and my necklace $35.

I got these hair flowers on Etsy for $35 and I love them.
