Favors

Hey girls,

I was just wondering what everyone here is doing for favors?  Or if you're married already what did you do for favors?

I want mine to be something edible, and was thinking of getting personalized m&m's and wrapping them up in a nice baggy or jar, but my mom is b*tching to me that they are too expensive.

Thoughts?  Ideas?

Thanks!

I too wanted to do something edible. I was going to bake sugar cookies and decorate them; however everyone said that it would be a huge undertaking for us considering we'd have to make them so close to our day, and it'd be over 200 cookies so I am back to square one as well. I am going to look at prices for already made cookies, but we'll see.

We bought hershey kisses in silver and purple (milk and dark flavors) since purple was our colors, and bought personalized stickers from Michaels that we printed our names on. We got little white favor bags from michaels and put in purple tissue paper with the kisses and zazzled stickers that said Hugs and Kisses from the new Mr. and Mrs.   We also put a scroll in saying where we donated money too and in memory of our grandparents.

Don't go crazy over favors, half of them get left behind.

We did chocolate covered pretzels, and they were a huge hit!  I was going to order them from a chocolate shop, but they were pretty expensive.  We eneded up ordering from nutsonline.com and we bagged them ourselves with ribbon and a tag.

Since one of our colors was silver, we did Hershey's kisses. I bought the small round labels from staples and printed our monogram on them, stuck them to the bottom of the kisses. I bagged them in clear cello bags from Papermart, tied them with sheer black ribbon and attached a tag I made with a big hole punch and our printer.

We gave cute bags with a bottle of limoncello as well as italian and puertorican candy.

I made heart shaped chocolate lolipops - some milk, some white, some dark, with purple writing that said "on our wedding day" - I wrapped them with a tag that had our names and the wedding date along with a purple ribbon. Everyone loved them!
