MOB dress color

Is the MOB dress supposed to be a color that "goes" with the wedding colors? Is she supposed to coordinate? My mom and I are going shopping on Tuesday and I figured I'd ask now, so I will know.

Not really. Some people say this but it's really most important that your mom wears something she is comfortable in and feels beautiful.

My FMIL says this but personally I don't care. They can wear what they want.

They can wear whatever they want. They aren't part of the WP. Both our our Mom's wore something in the purple color scheme bc purple was one of our colors and the pics turned out fine.

If they want to coordinate, they can, but they don't have to.

Ours didn't end up coordinating & it was fine, in person & in pictures. I second the "have your mom find something she loves"

my wedding colors are purple and my mom got a merolt color gown. i think a lot of MOBs get neutral colors but i dont really think it matters. also, they dont take pictures with the bridal party so coordinating in pics shouldnt be an issue
