Calling all Asheville Brides!

Hey There,

I am newly engaged and am looking to get married in the Asheville area. I am starting to plan and was wondering what venues, if any, have any asheville brides to be found or had great experiences with?! I have looked at Biltmore, Grand Bohemian. What other great places are there?

Any guidance would be great! Thanks.

I got married in Lake Lure at Rumbling Bald Resort about 2 weeks ago...the venue was beautiful and I still can't get over how it looked when it came together.  The food was excellent and we just loved everything about the setup from the gazebo on the lake to the short walk up to the lakeview terrace for the reception.  I posted some pictures in a post below...good luck planning =)

I'm getting married in Asheville and have a couple good websites.  But, bigger cities can be more expensive; I would suggest looking in surrounding areas as well. There are lots of little known vineyards out there that I'm sure would be willing to acomodate you!  Here's a few links - hope they help!

There are ton of places in Asheville in a wide range of budgets.  We looked at 5 different places before making a decision.  Hidden River Events, Claxton Farm, Crest Center, Lake Eden, Grove Park Inn, The Hawk Ivey, The Farm, The Arboretum, Coleman Place, Homewood.
