Ladies, I am sooo pissed. I am getting married on June 11, 2011 and was suppose to get married at the BLAIR MILL INN. Well when i went there originally, they sold me a good sale but make a long story short, i am PISSD and unhappy with them, and their service. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Can you ladies recommend a location for us? Right now we don't want to spend more than 90 person and want to remain in suburban PA. We live in the Havetown Area and would't mind a location close to our home

I am getting married in March at Spring Mill CC , if you want to be in the off season you can be around 90 pp.

I can't change my date. Having my traditonal wedding on 6/10/11 and that is allready booked and payed for.. Traditionally, i can't change my date

What about Belle Voir? Its the other property at Pen Ryn. I also think they are opening their new location (I forget the name, its an outdoor garden type space) soon and should be open well before your wedding.

Highly recommend William Penn Inn, it's up near Normandy Farms but we really liked the staff when we interviewed them up there, also have been to weddings there that were great. I know brides from your area who have gotten married up there, it's an easy drive up the blue rt. There are pics and reviews on this blog
romanceatthewilliampenninn.blogspot.com. Not sure what Ridley Creek Park costs or if they're still accepting weddings, there's some discussion about construction next year. There's McCall's CC on city Line, I haven't seen it, just website, give them a call. It's hard to make suggestions because I'm not sure if you're looking for a CC, restaurant etc..or willing to have a caterer.

Conner Catering has two venues in your area - The Old Mill in Media (which is where I'm getting married) and The Grange Estate which is right in Havertown. His prices are VERY reasonable. Not sure if there would be availability on your date, but it might be worthwhile to check.

I read the part about Normandy and wish I had gotten to you sooner - since well I'm one of the booked parties. I wonder if that means the larger ballroom is taken....must find out by who so I can totally steal some time in the areas they can take photos!

It sounds like you've got a lot of really good reccomendations but you might want to check out Plymouth Country Club. I think prices are a little 90/pp but they include tax and service charges and you get a lot included in the package. Good Luck!

Another one not mentioned here, if you need even MORE suggestions, would be ACE conference center in Plymouth Meeting. I haven't seen it personally, but I've heard good things and I think they are reasonably priced for what they offer.

Just got married and had our reception at ACE Center in Lafayette Hill on Saturday! It was fabulous! Cheryl Oneill was our coordinator and she was great to work with. Everyone raved about the food! It was very reasonable and they worked with us to give us just what we wanted. Send me a PM if you want more details.

I recently got married at Center Square Golf Club and it was simply beautiful. I would highly recommend the place and wedding corrdinator there is great to work with. If you haven't called them yet it might be worth your phone call. Good luck finding a new place!!
