Can anyone recommend a good place to get major wedding dress alterations. I bought my dress at the Bridal Garden, so unfortunately, I cannot reorder it in another size, and thankfully I can go anywhere for alterations. I've lost a ton of weight since I bought my dress (about 40 lbs!) and I need to figure out if my dress can be altered or if I should go shopping for another. I'd like to consult with a seamstress since I'm about 8 months out from my wedding and now would be the time to shop if I was going to do it. Thankfully the dress contains no beading or lace and the "embellishment" is ruching, but I have a feeling the dress will really need to be taken apart.
