Southern Rustic Wedding in need of reception space

Hi,

I am an out of state bride from Tennessee planning a wedding in my fiance's area of raleigh durham. He is Kuwait so I have to do this myself. Since we don't have a large budget, I am looking for a reception space that is budget friendly. I would love some help and advice.

Thanks!

I would try reposting this on the main NC board as it gets a little more traffic than this board does.

Also, what is your general budget you're looking to stay in and how many people will the space need to hold? What kind of 'feel' are you looking for?

These questions will help others to be able to recommend places better. :)

  • Budget: 4000 for 100 people. I just want everyone to have fun like a party!

  • Try the Wake Forest Community house, It sits 160 people and has two fireplaces and is all wooden inside $400 for the whole day! no Alchohol though
  • Good! No alcohol saves you money! Is that budget for the wedding or venue/food?
