I went for my 1st fitting! Sad thing is I can't sit down! LOL, but who cares! I know my FI will love the fact that I chose a mermaid form-fitted dress. He's never seen me in anything like that! Oh well! 119 more days...

    lol! i LOVE the dress! congrats on finding her!! I was trying to look back, but another girl just had the same problem not that long ago, hopefully she'll chime in and let you know what she did, i know in the end that she did end up being able to sit in the dress :)

    You look great!

    Just a tid bit of advice. Sitting in my dress was uncomfortable until I realized I needed to go braless. Not sure if you are wearing a full line corset  bra when you try to sit...if you are, try taking it off! And if your dress doesn't have enough support to go braless then add cups. 

    I did a post on here being UPSET about one of my bridesmaids not wearing a bra and swore up and down that I don't leave the house without one and now it turns out that I didn't even need one.

    ...good point about the bra. I'm not endowed, so I needed something to fill out the front. I'll try that. It's funny because when I did actually sit down, I couldn't bend my legs. LOL, they were sticking straight out! LOL. Oh geez! someone need to write a books about this! Who would have know to try to sit down! LOL. OK - Thanks Ladies! Too funny!

    Hey... when I thought I had found THE DRESS.. and then gave it a month and went back and ACTUALLY FOUND MY DRESS.. The one thing the salon owner had me do was ....TRY THE SIT TEST... I had NEVER heard of that before,.

    and realized I never tried to sit in the first dress..... I am soo glad that I tried that and took pics sitting down so I could see how I looked sitting down in the dress..

    You have three months.. can you not sit down AT ALL.. or is it just tight in the hips.. or just uncomfy?

    @nursing2u I can't sit down at all. LOL. When I do, I have to stick my legs straight out. My seamstress is makin me coming back in December and if I still can't sit down, then she's going to have to alter it. The problem is the dress looks sooooooo good tight! I know that sounds crazy. LOL. I know that I definitely need to sit down, so I'm hoping that something will give. I had on my spanx, so not much else I can suck in. LOL

    yeah girl..... something has to give... not saying to lose weight.. since you love how the dress fits.. But standing all day... may be a bit much....
