I haven't posted much here but I wanted to post my reviews because this board had been so helpful to me in planning our wedding.
Mandalay Bay/Vista Suite: A+
We were a little worried about checking into the Vista Suite based on previous reviews, but everything went smoothly. We were even able to check in a little early. I had talked to our coordinator Aleena about our concerns and she had tied our Vista Suite reservation to our wedding. The room was amazing, even better than the pictures. Our guests loved it and were very impressed with the view.
Mandalay Bay/Valley of the Falls: A
The ceremony at Valley of the Falls was beautiful. We got a lot of compliments on the venue. We were a little worried because it rained that day and didn’t know if we would be able to have our wedding outside. Fortunately the rain stopped in time for our 7pm ceremony. The only issue we had, and it wasn’t really that much of an issue, was the officiant (I don’t remember his name) was a little hard to understand and stumbled over his words a bit.
RM Seafood: B
We had dinner here after the wedding. The food was pretty good – everyone had a choice of fish, chicken, or steak. The service was ok, but the servers weren’t overly friendly like they were at Cheeseburger Las Vegas for our welcome dinner.
Cheeseburger Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood: A+
The burgers were very good! We got the Burgers N’ Beer package which included unlimited beer. The service was amazing and they even let us stay longer than our allotted two hours. I am so glad we had a welcome dinner so everyone could get together before the wedding.
Harmony Medina: A+
Harmony did an amazing job! She created the look that I had imagined. She was very friendly, provided a free hair and make-up trial, and was on time. Highly recommend.
Gimme Some Sugar: B
The cake looked amazing! My husband worked with the owners to create exactly what he wanted. The flavors we picked were red velvet and cookies and cream. The fillings were good but we felt there was too much cake and not enough filling. They were also about 45 minutes late delivering the cake to our suite.
DJ Godzilla: A+
I highly recommend DJ Godzilla! He was great, got everyone up and dancing and had a wide variety of music. Unfortunately after a few hours we had received two noise complaints so we had to send him home early. He said that it was only the second time this had happened to him.
Cashman: A
I was a little worried about the Cashman photography based on some not so great reviews but I think our pictures really came out well. The pictures and cd were expensive but definitely worth it.
Mike L Photography: A
We did a strip tour with Mike L. We don’t have the pictures yet but he was a pleasure to work with. We originally booked him for four hours but ended early after three. It was really hot and we felt we got all the pictures we set out to get. Mike did say four hours is long and he doesn’t usually book that long for a strip tour.
Culinary Pros: A+
We had a bartender and a server from Culinary Pros. Both of them were really good and I am so glad we decided to go with them. We originally thought it might be too much for our group of 45, but having the bartender and helper was great!
Travis Allen: A+
Travis was amazing! We kept it a secret from our guests so it would be a surprise. Everyone loved him!! It was so unexpected and such a fun time!!
