I had awesome 75 degree weather on my wedding day and it went by too quickly! Here are my reviews:
Dress- Wendys Bridal in Kenwood
Rating: D-F
I experienced awful customer service with Wendy's Bridal. They gave me the wrong bra and did not allow for me to take it back. They also measured my bridesmaids inaccurately. I went back to look for another dress for a second reception and they did not give me the time of day and I had an appointment. Not too impressed at all! I did love my dress though!
Newport Aquarium-Venue
Rating:A
This was an awesome venue. You cannot beat the location and the fabulous skyline view of Cincinnati. They have patio area and this was a hit with the guests. This venue can be a little bit on the pricy end, especially with open bar, but it was worth it in the end. Brent was good to worth with!!
McHale's Catering
Rating: A
Fairly priced, Megan was great to work with, Responded to email very quickly, food & service was very good. Went to two tastings for free.
DJ: TCB DJ's Tim & Mark Sawhook
Rating: A-/B+
Awesome guys but I did not feel they played enough music that our parents enjoy. They went straight from dinner music to rap songs young adults like to dance to. Other than that, they had people on the dance floor all night long. They did stick to our do-not-play list, which was nice.
Limo: A Limousine Associates
Rating: C
Limo driver was on time and took us anywhere we wanted to go. Said limo was for 10-12 people but we only had 10 in there and it was a tight squeeze so I couldn't imagine two more people being in there. We were promised a wedding package which consisted of champagne, red carpet and just married signs. We asked the limo where the champange was and he said he was not informed of the package. Not a deal breaker but I am all about getting what you pay for. I called back today for some type of refund since we did not get all of the package and they are going to call me back.
Cake: Peggy at Affordable Wedding Creations Covington, KY
Rating: A++
Some many compliments on the look and taste of cake. Strawberry flavor was my favorite. Very professional. Free tasting and free cake on 1 year anniversary! $2.50/slice and no delivery or set up fees
Flowers: Inga at Affordable Wedding Creations Covington, KY

Flowers looked great and were very affordable but she was late to church to deliver the flowers. She was supposed to arrive at 1:00 and got there at almost 1:30. Also, she just dropped them off and left. She was supposed to help pin them on the guys.
Make Up: Marxey Makeup (Michelle Marx)
Rating: A-
Loved what Michelle did with our all of our make-up. As far as my hair, I liked my hairstyle but I did not love it. My MOH's hair was falling down an hour after it was done. Other than that, definitely nice that her and her assistant come to you because relieves stress of making it to a salon.

One of my best bargains! She sold me chair covers @ $2.50 each including sash and chair cover color of choice and set up. Linens were $6 and overlays were $5. If you have been shopping linens, then you will know how great of a deal this is.
