Man Registry

My fiance and I wanted to register somewhere that would have stuff for him as well.  Who has a registry that carries both men's tools as well as appliances and housewares? Any ideas?

Sears is the only place I can think of.  Or maybe Target too, though not as much in the tool area.
  • yeah, we're doing Sears for that reason

  • We used Sears and had no problems with them.  It was our smallest registry (15 items) cause they were just for tools, but FI was happy to have a registry that was about him.

  • MY stepsister put in Lowe's and Home Depot on her shower invites because they're eventually going to be updating a house and wanted the gift card option so they can get what they need.
  • we are doing sears and walmart
  • Another idea is having a "Honey Do" Shower. Usually an aunt or someone like that will throw a man-only shower that is especially for the groom. They get typical man gifts and tools for that "honey-do list" of yours. This is usually done when bridal showers are for women only, plus, it's just a cute, fun thing for your groom to look forward to!

  • My future sister in law registered at Home Depot. It has wonderful tools as well as beautiful linens and lighting

  • My sister did hers at bb&b but she had a few other stores too...she was telling me that she combined alll of them to one registry. i'm pretty sure the websites called myregistry.com..not positive though...she said that theres a whole list of stores there.
  • We are registering at Bed, Bath and Beyond and Menards.  Suprisingly Menards actually has a lot of small appliances (crock pots, toasters, waffle makers, etc).  And FI was really excited about registering for MAN things. :)

  • We just registered at Home Depot.  I was actually surprised at how much I found that I wanted there too.  Very practical stuff but also some tools that he wanted!
  • We are registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond and plan on also registering at Lowes.  FH's 50-year-old house is in bad need of updating, and we could use things like drywall and paint more than another crock-pot.

  • Best buy has a registry, but it is called a "Wish List" .  It is for weddings, birthdays, or whatever.  My fiance was looking for somewhere to register too.

  • Menards is fabulous for the "man registry," or the home-needs! It's just an all around great store... even around the holiday season they have tons of stuff to decorate your home, yard, etc with! Great choice!
  • I've known couples to do two registries.  One for him and one for her at different stores.  That way they don't feel they are getting left out and it's not all about the bride.  Let him have some fun with that price gun!!!
