Salons with Large Selection of MOB gowns????

I had posted a thread the other day looking for places that might sell a gown style my mom is looking for, however, she has still be unsuccessful and at this point, I am looking for suggestions...

Anybody know of a salon in NJ that has a large selection of MOB gowns? We've looked in just about every location we know of in our area, and she doesn't have a computer so she can't look online. She wants to stay away from Dept stores.

We don't care how far we have to travel at this point.. but we need somewhere with a large selection because she has become extremely picky (and its driving me a little crazy, lol).

What style is she looking for? My mom ended up getting a BM dress because she hated all the MOB gowns.

Long a-line gown with straps (so no strapless, or mermaid, or empire). Has to be A-Line with straps! (preferably thick straps).
Also, must have beading, and no train of any kind.
Also, MUST include a jacket, not a bolero, with long sleeves, and sleeves cannot be sheer.
And it must come in a purple/eggplant color, because that is the only color she'll wear.
I swear, it is driving me crazy.
She found one or two she kind of liked, but nothing she was crazy about. (Montage dresses).

She has looked in Russels, Hollywood, David's Bridal, Arlene's, Jeffre Bridals, Exquisite Brides, Park Avenue, Group USA and some other places I'm probably forgetting.
And she doesn't want to buy one from a Dept store because she is afraid someone else might have the same dress. (she has looked in Macy's, Lord & Taylor, Nordtsrom, JC Penney, Burlington Coat Factory, and prob others... just in case and didn't even find anything worth trying on).

That is not a dress my mom would ever wear.. nothing couture..

If you are willing to go to Cherry Hill, my FMIL got her dress which is similar to that at Jan's Boutique. They have an ENORMous amount of dresses to look at.

Maybe try East West Bridals in Secaucus. We got our BM dresses there but while we were there, my mom saw a bunch of MOB dresses that she really liked.

We found a few places in Matawan and Old Bridge that she wants to check out this weekend.. so we'll see.
Don' t know if she's willing to try Cherry Hill.
That is the second recommendation of East West Bridals, so maybe we'll check that out too.

I second east west bridals . . thats where I got my dress, my bm and my mom found a dress she loooved.

Definately check out True Love in Matawan. That's where I got my wedding gown and BM dresses, and my Mom eventually bought her gown there, but had actually found it elsewhere. While we loved dealing with the store owner and sales people, my Mom thought their MOB gown selection was geared more for an older woman. Sounds like what your Mom is looking for.

My sister's getting married this year, and while we were at Hearts for You for my sister, we glanced through their MOB gowns. Beautiful gowns, but much more couture than it sounds like your Mom wants.

Cool thanks for the tip! So far, the plan this weekend is to visit True Love, Dream Dresses, Dresses & More, and Cinderella (all in that areaZ).. so hopefully she finds something!
