For those with bustles, who is going to responsible for doing yours when the time comes? And when are you doing it... before or after any planned / posed / group pictures?

I have no idea haha. I think my MOH since she's going to be with me at all of the dress fittings and she's good with these kinds of things.

Mom and bridesmaids will be doing mine right before the reception (hoping to have 99% of the photos taken before the wedding). My mom is worried about doing it by herself b/c all the parts blend in with the lace on my dress and are hard to find.

My best friend is doing it after photos and before reception. We have gone over it during the dress fittings so we are confident that it should take less than 10 minutes.

I think my mom will be responsible for it b/c she's coming with me to the final fitting and the seamstress will show her what to do. I think I'm going to bustle it before I go to the cocktail hour so I can walk around with ease! We will have most of the pictures done by then, and I don't want to risk having someone accidentally step on the train.

My BM that lives out here cause she's done it with me already and she's good at these things. I think i'll do mine after dinner before our first dance. I love my train (scalloped lace that is see thru with buttons all the way down

) and it's not too too long so i want to leave it down as long as possible hehe

My mom and/or my MOH will be doing it right before the reception. I want it down for the formal pictures after the ceremony.

My MOH and my Mom will be in charge of doing it. They're the only ones that came to the dress fitting. I think my planner will probably help, too. The bustle is kind of complicated so I hope they can figure it out without too much help! We'll do it after pictures, before the reception (like the majority of PP above).

My mom and sister/MOH will be doing it. I will probably do it sometime at the end of pictures but before our grand entrance. If not it will get in the way for the first dance.

My mom will be doing it since she has been the one coming to my fittings. I am going to bustle mine right after the ceremony since we are taking our pictures before hand.

I think I may have to do mine before the majority of my pictures. We are doing a few pictures at the church directly following the ceremony, but then we are going to the cocktail hour and doing more pics (just B+G) during the second half of the cocktail hour. I don't wan't ppl tripping on it at the cocktail hour, so I think we'll have to do it up before then.

Like most, after pics before reception. I want some awesome train pics! I wish my mom and sister could do my bustle and they'll probably want to help. But they won't be here for my fitting. So I'm taking FMIL for sure, probably FI's aunt and maybe FSIL just in case. I want several people to know how in case someone gets busy, needs help or any other disaster I could imagine happening lol!

same as others, before reception! My mom has been going to my fittings with me so the seamstress is going to teach her how to do it. My MOH isn't very experienced with corsets/bustles/etc., but one of my BMs just got married a few years ago and is super good with them, so she will probably be the bustle and corset-tyer ringleader. For me, tying up my corset super tightly is even more important than the bustle!!!

My bustle is really easy to do so probably my mom or one of my girls. I'm debating whether to wait until after we make our grand entrance/first dance at the reception, or just bustle it when we get to the reception. The train is really what makes my dress stunning so I kind of want everyone to see it, especially those who are not able to make it to the church.

I'll probably play it by ear....

I have 4 people who know how to do that bustle. We're doing pictures at the church and then outside so probably will be done before we leave the church but I might have them take it down to do some pictures outside! We shall see!

Bmore, is it a complicated train? You could really take it back down and then back up for pics just with the two of you during cocktail hour...
