Fun place to get pedicures???

So I need to find a place quick to get pedicures done. There are at least 8 of us going next Friday. Any ideas on a nice place that isn't too expensive that could do this? I would love somewhere near downtown mpls but otherwise somewhere toward the east side of the cities since I live in Woodbury. I was hoping to find a place that could do all of our pedicures at the same time or at least most of them.

Any suggestions?

    The Aveda Institute.... I'm not sure how many they can accommodate at once, but we've gone for facials and stuff there.  It's always a ton of fun, and really cheap.  If you bring a student ID, you get another 20% (25%?) off the costs, too.

    ETA: Here's their 'menu' http://www.avedainstitutemn.com/cmsdocuments/ServicesMenu_May2010.pdf. Looks like pedicures are only $20 (so $16 if you bring a student ID!)

    I had thought about that, but the last time I went there the girls had never done a pedicure before and the idea of doing a french pedicure scared the heck out of them haha! so I don't want to risk that for my wedding :) It would be nice because its really close to the depot too! thanks for the idea though!

    We went to Happy Nails on Snelling in St. Paul (btw Randolph & St. Claire, sort of near Macalester College)  There were 5 of us (3 adults & 2 little girls).  They have about 15-20 chairs there, so you might have a shot at getting all 8 in about the same time.  I did stop in a few days before to make an appt.   Not sure how much just pedis are....I had mani/pedi and both french, which was $50.   One other thing of note, you can put the procedure on a credit card, but you can't put a tip on it, so you'd need to bring cash for the tip (just a little oddball thing they throw at you....)  Anyway, here's their # (651) 698-0406.  Good luck.

    I've gone to two nail salons in Woodbury (I live there too :) ). Once at Nail Studio 06 in CityWalk, and they were good. Got a mani and pedi there and both were good. I ended up going to Ocean Nails to get my nails off after the wedding, they are by the Woodbury Cafe at Tamarack & Bielenberg. There was a group of girls getting pedis there and looked to be having a great time. They seem pretty laid back there, which I appreciate. And they have super comfy looking chairs for the pedis. I'm not to 'experienced' with manis and pedis, but their prices seemed really good. When I decide to go back for one, it will be Ocean Nails for sure. I think they have more pedi chairs there too... probably 8-10 of them at least??
    Same thing with the cash for tips at both of them.
