Dreams Puerta Adventuras

Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun

Thanks!

Re: Riviera Maya AI-Opinions?

  • I've been to Secrets Silversands. It gets mixed reviews, but if you scroll down a bit, you will see a very recent positive review. One thing that is a huge difference between Dreams/Now and Secrets is that Secrets is adults only. Also look into Secrets Capri. They were having a sale that made it more budget friendly, but it is one of the better Secrets properties.  I have been to Dreams (though none of the ones youve mentioned) and while I didn't have any issues with kids, they were definitely there. That being said, of what I know about the Dreams properties from my research an planning, Riviera Cancun is the best. Puerto Aventuras is the least luxurious.

  • Thank you.  One additional question, what were your impressions of the beaches at both Secrets Silversands and Secrets Capri?
  • And your opinion of the beach ad Dreams Riviera Cancun?
  • I haven't been to any of the resorts you listed, but we did HM at Secrets Maroma Beach and loved it.  My SIL/bro did a 3 where they visited all 3 Secrets properties (Silversands, Capri and Maroma) and SIL said the beach at Silversands is terrible compared to either of the other two.  Although Maroma Beach is ranked in the world's top 10 on some lists. If Maroma is out of your budget, like pp suggested, I would look at Capri
  • Check out Valentin Imperial Maya. We loved it.
  • Secrets Maroma Beach

  • It's not on your list, but I went to the Aventura Spa palace (must be 5 years ago) and it was wonderful. I loved every second of my trip.
    Praying for a miracle!
  • H and I went to Dreams Riviera Maya (not Tulum and not Cancun) and loved it. The beach was gorgeous as was the infinity pool. Food was good too and there weren't that many kids. They have an adult only pool too. We just returned from Azul Fives, another AI. Gorgeous, not as luxurious as Dreams but close.

  • We went to Dreams Tulum in Dec. 2010 and had a wonderful time! I would go back in a heart beat.
