I've been hunting high and low for standout singers/musicians for our ceremony.
I was blown away at my friends sisters funeral by the singer. Would it be terrible to see if they are available for the wedding? I wouldn't want to bring up horrible memories for my friend at the wedding.

    I dont know what kind of funeral it was for your friend, but I would sit down and tell her how you feel. I dont think she will mind since this is more of a happy time. Good Luck

    I don't think it sounds inappropriate. If your friend mentions the singer just complement her on her families choice of wonderful singer/musician.
