Anxiety

I woke up this morning with the worst anxiety. Not like I'm worried about anything specific just feel like there is a huge weight on my chest and feel kind of worried and sad. I don't normally get like this. This shoud be a happy and exciting time for me, and because of this I am having trouble getting motivated to to any of the WR stuff today. And FI works midnights so he is sleeping and I can't talk to him about this right now :( Anyone else having anxiety?

Re: Anxiety

  • I have been feeling a little more emotional than usual...feeling like I could burst into tears at any moment and also just a general nervous feeling.

    I find that wine helps.

</div><div>I find that wine helps solve all problems as well! I haven't been too bad yet with anxiety, I've had a couple freakouts but not too bad overall.

  • I support the wine assertion but feel that it might be a bit too early for that.

Now that I'm in PA I'm starting to really flip...It's going so quickly now!

<div>Haha I find that wine helps too.. but it is a bit early for that. Plus I am a SAHM so day drinking in front of the kids would require some explaining LOL. I have a lot of WR stuff that needs to be done. I think maybe I just need to focus on the happy things.</div>

  • Yes, wine helps with everything :-)

I only get anxiety when I think about the wedding a lot. I feel like I have so much to do but I really don't. I feel like something is going to royally get screw up :-(

I guess we'll have to wait and see Undecided

  • I am with you. I started getting bad anxiety 2 weeks ago. I find that taking Zanatc really helps- only because I usually get a sour stomach or heart burn with anxiety. It's an OTC, you could try that and see if it helps?

I used to have anxiety a few years ago when I moved out of my parents' house. Some of it is coming back and I think it is from all the stress and I am a worrier by nature. It sucks.

Do some breathing exercises too- breath all the way into your stomach (from your nose) then exhale out of your mouth slowly. Do that a few times, it helps me.

  • I do that sometimes...but it's usually over something that popped into my head. Yesterday morning I woke up around 5am in a full panic over our programs. I'm having them done on Etsy and still haven't heard back from the lady with my proofs...it's giving me serious anxiety!! I'm trying to take the attitude that whatever happens, happens (or doesn't happen), but when I paid $100 for something, it better HAPPEN!!!

<div>I hear you. I still haven't heard from an Etsy seller that I ordered over $300 worth of stuff from like our flower girl baskets and some other baskets from and a bunch of other stuff. Last time I messaged her she said "they will be ready for shipment around the first part of July". Seriously??? I told you my wedding date lady they better be here!</div>
