Engagement Photo Outfit -- Opinions

I am taking my photos in a couple of weeks in down town Boston.  I recently bought this dress: http://shop.stagestores.com/catalog/product/view/id/361575/bebop-lace-overlay-dress/ .

I am concerned about what my fiance could wear to coordinate with me.  I know he does not want to wear jeans.  What would you recommend he wears?  Would khaki's and a black dress shirt be okay, or is it too much black?

  • Cute dress.

I'd tell him khakis and a pale blue shirt, or a gray shirt. I don't like black over khaki, personally.

He says the same thing about black over khaki lol.
  • Cute dress!  I'd go with a lighter shirt for your FI, it'll create some nice contrast.  For our e-photos, I wore a super-dark navy blue and FI wore a very pale blue, and it looked really nice.

Nice idea ... I wasn't even thinking about contrast
  • I'd put him in black pants with a lighter blue dress shirt. If that's too dressy for the look you're going for I'd opt for khaki with a lighter blue. Love that dress BTW!!
