Jewelers in the South Hills?

Hello ladies, this is my first post on this board!  Quick intro, my FI and I have been together for almost 12 years, he finally popped the questions on 11.11.11.  We're having a private beach ceremony at Maui in a month and a half, can't wait.

Anyway, we're finally getting around to looking for wedding bands and since we live in the South Hills area, I was wondering if anyone can recommend good jewelers in the area?  TIA!

There are some jewelery stores in South Hills Village that I went to to look at rings, like Helzberg, Kay's Jewelers, and Jared's (Jared's is actually outside of the mall, but very close).  The people at Helzberg were nice, and there was an engagement ring there I really liked a lot.  My fiance bought my ring at Frost and Company in the Clark Building downtown, which is where we bought our wedding bands.  There were some other jewelery stores in the Clark Building too, so that is also somewhere to consider.

  • We just got our weddiing bands at Helzberg's in South Hills Village.  They were very nice and helpful and trust me I spent alot of time trying on lots of rings there and they were still patient.  Also the prices are good, a ring I bought my fiancee was priced way higher at another store.  Good luck!!
  • FI got my engagement ring from Helzberg in South Hills Village Mall and we plan on getting our bands from them as well.

  • esken jewelers in pleasant hills was great to work with and helped tremendously....lj, the sales clkerk was fantastic!!! They even provided pix and certificates for insurance purposes....
  • I would recommend Truevers Jewlers on West Liberty road in Dormont.  Its a small family owned shop, and the owner is always there - very knowledgeable, very helpful for any budget.  Doesn't oversell and trustworthy!
