Alright ladies. Step right up! I hope you have been busy! I'm at less than 2 months now, so that's pretty exciting. I didn't do too, too much last week, but I really need to step it up this week...which is basically dedicated to contacting all my vendors that I haven't talked to in months.

THIS PAST WEEK

-Paid off our honeymoon! I'll reconfirm our flights and hotels the week we go, but other than that we are all set in that department.

-Mailed my invitations! I walked over to the Ben Franklin post office to get them hand cancelled.

-Rehersal dinner is booked! My FMIL told me that she put down a deposit. She originally wanted to do something really complicated that was super far from the venue, so I'm REALLY happy that she just picked a small Italian joint a few miles from the venue.

-My mom's dress came in!

-I started looking for bridal party gifts....will continue....

THIS UPCOMING WEEK

-hair trial on thursday

-make some decisions on bridal party gifts

-get the parents gifts (gc to favorite restaurants)

-email the string quartet my song choices

-email my DJ my song choices

-call my photographer and ask a million questions

-respond to my officiants email

-call my florist to set up a final appointment

That's a long list! I guess I'll get to as much as I can...

-ordred a bracelet to wear
-just had my last hair trial!
-got pictures from my dad for the slideshow
-my belt came in!
-got RD invites in the mail & addressed them
-got the invite to my shower/bach in the mail!
-hit the 50 day mark!

-scan pictures
-continue working on parent gifts
-first dress fitting!
-dan's bachelor party on saturday (re: SUPER MEGA craft day. hoping to get a LOT done)

Last Week:

- assembled all of the invites

- decided on my day-of jewelry (borrowing necklace from mom, bought matching earrings)

- had my first dress fitting, scheduled my second one

- just about finished getting all of the addresses I need (just waiting on one more)

- bought a Groupon for VP to order stuff next week

- designed the RD invites

- confirmed the rest of the menu choices with the venue and picked my linens

- finalized the guest list

- set up a second consult with my florist

This Week:

- order the RD invites and place cards from VP (and some other stuff, not sure what yet though)

- address envelopes

- take a finished invite to the post office to have it weighed and then buy wedding stamps

I may accomplish some other things too. It seems like lately I've been veering off of my checklist by just picking a random task and finishing it.

This week I was out pretty much the whole week recovering from the surgery, but did have some time to work on wedding stuff.

1) I ordered all of the bridal party gifts, except for my Father, and the Best man (fiance has to decide on this gift).
2) Figured out that I needed more wedding favors due to the increase of guest list, so I ordered additional favors pieces.
3) Took my daughter to claire's and bought the cutest little flower basket, circle flower thing that goes on her head, and really cute sandels with diamonds on them that matches her flower girl dress. I was surprised to find this stuff in claire's.
4) Bought the stuff to do the personalized hangers. Maybe next week, I will start this project.

Meanwhile, I have my "surger recovery" corner piled up with crafts things that I still need to do for the wedding. I didn't get to touch it this week because of the visitors, and how crappy I was feeling. Maybe this upcoming week I will get those hangers started if not finished, and all of my silverware rolled in the napkins. I needed stuff to do, so I am doing this sooner than later (They will then be sealed up so they stay clean).

Last Week: - finished TY cards for the bridal shower - worked on seating arrangements - finished pre-Cana - started to work n design of escort cards This Week - finalize ceremony music - send vendor info to wedding planner - get ideas for parents gifts - buy more stamps

Last Week:

Finished and mailed ALL our invitations (MAJOR SIGH OF RELIEF!!)

Tried to schedule our last premarital counseling sessions with the priest... I say tried...

Scheduled dance lesson

Picked up his 'work' wedding band

Got my something borrowed from my FMIL- incredibly sweet of her- got a FABULOUS sparkly rhinestone bracelet from the 40's that belonged to her mother and is TOTALLY something I would have bought for myself.

Sent my sister my names/addresses for my bridal shower.

Bought FI a shirt for his tux.

Went through our DJ's website and picked our 'Definitely play' and 'Oh please don't play' lists.

Enjoyed ourselves, laughed hysterically and often.

This week:

Start dance lessons

Schedule Pre-marital sessions (our priest didn't have his planner last week...)

Schedule first fitting (YAY!)

Add a few more things to our registry... le groan...

Brazillian!! (Yay Groupon!) This counts as wedding prep because I'm getting a series before the wedding to make sure everything is lovely for the big event.

Try and get all the details figured out while I'm off work for a little while as there's a good chance I have another job starting very soon.

                   Look into the whole marriage license deal.
                   Try to enjoy FMIL's shower and not scream and run out.

Last week:

- Met officiant for the first time. We loved her and she doesn't have a voicebox like in the nightmare I had (I had only emailed with her previous to last Friday and had this nightmare she spoke thru a voicebox). She is well-spoken and easy to understand and just a super sweet person!
- Had tasting and decided on menu! Everything was delicious and we had so much fun.
-Emailed BM rough schedule. They are starting to book flights and I wanted them to be well in the know.

This week:
-Mail invites
-Go to Men's Warehouse and confirm vest color (my dad saw it when he was there and said he didn't think it would match. I haven't seen it in person and am now worried).
