Umm...I made a delicious roast chicken last night. That was the extent of anything exciting that happened this weekend. It was pretty uneventful (not that I'm complaining, we very rarely have weekends with nothing going on).

Sorry to hear about your bad weekend mmp and having it continue to Monday sucks hope it gets better soon! Nothing to aw today unfortunately. I got pretty mad at FI this weekend for antagonizing my Mr. Grumpypants neighbor who likes to call codes on me. He thought he'd be funny and toss some trash in Grumpypants' yard and I got mad cause Grumpypants has been leaving me alone for the last couple of months. Why start stuff like that when everything's been so nice and quiet? Grrrrrr.

Friday i made pulled pork. It turned out great for being the first time I have made it! And then I went out with a friendl from college that lives in my area (this is a big thing since i dont have many friends here since I just moved). Saturday just relaxed in sweatpants with FI watching college football. both our teams lost!

and then yesterday after work watched some more football! I say i had a pretty good weekend!!!!

We have our engagement pictures tonight!! I am so excited and kinda nervous. I got my nails done this morning and on my way to my hair and makeup trials.

FI and I had a movie date yesterday, it's been about a month since we've done something together, so it was really nice! I've also started working on our Save the Dates, I've been waiting for FI's input, but yesterday he gave me free reign with it since he's back to school and super busy now. So I'll post on here or on FB either today or tomorrow for your input!

I actually had 2 job interviews last week and a phone interview. The phone interview went well enough that I now have an in person interview tomorrow! I'm so excited that there were bites on my resume. I'm still waiting to hear from the companies from last weeks' interviews but I'm kind of hoping to get the job I have the interview for tomorrow. It sounds like the best fit and the most interesting work. Fingers crossed I'll get that or one of the others soon since Friday it my last day!

I'm currently sitting at the w hotel rooftop pool in Austin,tx.

Went to a friends wedding in Houston on Friday and FI and I are making a vacation of the trip. Life is good.

Sparkles can't wait to see the pics!

AW- awesome day yesterday, chalkboard-painted 175 escort cards/tags and 4 picture frame signs for the wedding. FI cooked a mean tenderloin on the grill, AND the Steelers lost! Who knows though how my Ravens will do tonight, we weren't looking too shabby in the preseason and our defense has taken some big hits in the offseason.

Well we had our Epics yesterday!

I love my photographer, she is absolutely amazing.

I got a sneak peak from fb, and I'm completely in love with most of the pics.

I can't wait to get the rest of them!

We are moving into our new house this weekend! Woo for that.

I am really excited to have a yard for the pups.

I had a great weekend!

My Mom came up from San Diego on Friday and we had a walk through at our wedding venue with the florist and the uplighting vendor, as well as the venue coordinator. We set up a floorplan for all the tables, looked at linens, decided on the uplighting color (a warm amber). We also went through every floral arrangement, centerpeice, boutonneires and bouquets, etc. with the florist... whose proposal came in under budget!!!

Then my Mom, best friend (MOH) and I had drinks and dinner together and discussed all the details. A true girls night

On Saturday the three of us went back to the salon where we found my gown back in July and we ordered it, along with my veil! There's a separate post about this (with a picture link). After that we tried looking for a dress for my MOH but haven't found anything yet. So, we decided we needed more sustenance and met up with my FI and her husband at our local microbrew bar and hung out of the rest of the night. It was great!

Turned out to be a productive wedding weekend! My Mom and I both have assignments and prep to start working on for our next weekend of planning, which will be sometime next month (we've been averaging one weekend a month together to complete different items).

Hope all of you had a great weekend too! I know football season started, right? So all you sporty brides should have had at least one game to watch. And I hope everyone got a chance to relax too! Take care Lovelies!!!

My bridal salon is having a trunk sale next week. I was going to put the deposit down on my dress in October, but the owner said if I order it next week, I'll save 15% ($280). So I'm ordering it next week, but we'll be eating macaroni and cheese until October.

I also found a veil on my local board for $30. The one I was going to buy was $260. Woo hoo!

My AW is more about ym MOH. We had a bunch of friends up for the weekend to have an early celebration for FI's birthday on Wednesday. MOH divulged to me that on the six hour drive back from BM's specialist doctor in Boston, all they talked about was getting married. Like picked out a venue, picked a month, colors, everything. But they aren't technically engaged yet. All of us kind of pick on BM for not proposing yet. Him and MOH have been together over four years now. Later that same night BM confinded in me that he's been talking to all the female teachers he works with to see their rings and he's started seriously looking and plans to propose sometime in January/February. MOH has shown me pictures of what she wants, so I filled him in on some ring ideas that she would like. I'm soooooo excited at the idea of them getting engaged. I'd love for us to be engaged together!

Yay to everyone who had a good weekend!

My AW is lame, but I bought new running shoes this weekend! Kohl's was having a sale on top of a sale, and they had these (<--- click it!) amazing pink ("Fireberry") Nike sneakers that I've been dying to buy for a while now. I'm so excited to run my 5k now because I'm going to be rocking some crazy awesome shoes! Now I just need to stop shopping...

As most of you know, I've had a pretty horrible last few weeks. This weekend was frustrating as well because I had to serve as DD twice and take a test on a Saturday. However, I went home yesterday morning to spend time with FI and was thrilled to see him. And he's coming to visit me at school part of next weekend. My fraternity is having our semester-ly White Trash Bash, which is the party we got together at (I know... horrible) so we'll go to that and spend the whole day together Sunday.

Oh and I won a $30 gift card to the bowling alley for getting second place in a "guess how many legos are in the jar" contest.
