experiences with Wolsfelts in Aurora?

I'd welcome any feedback from brides who have shopped at or purchased from Wolsfelts in Aurora.

I've heard they don't disclose the designers of their dresses, but the customer service is great.

If you bought from there, or know someone who did - do you believe you got your dress at a competitive price? (not having the designer makes it hard to price shop)

Any other thoughts/opinions, good or bad, would be much appreciated.

thanks very much (:

Hi there! I got my dress at Wolsfelts. I have never been there before but I tried on about 30 dresses before making an appointment to see what they had. I discussed my likes/dislikes with my consultant (Andi) and then we were off through the racks. Andi was a lot of fun and made me feel very comfortable (even though their sucker inner things do not suck in and leave little to the imagination while changing in front of your consultant). Then... I found my dress. It was perfect I didn't want to take it off.

Just like "Say Yes to the Dress", the owner or manager comes in towards the end of the hour and a half appointment to push the sale. I felt rushed and confused so I left. I went to House of Brides to see if there was anything that could match THAT dress and there wasn't. I didn't know the designer of the dress (that party SUCKSSSSSS and they don't let you take pictures!!) but come to find out... it was the dress I put in my Knot's favorites when I FIRST started looking for dresses. That was a crazy feeling.

So to sum this all up... what you have heard is right! The prices are just like any high end boutique. I researched my dress online and I could have gotten it for $150 less but I'm okay with that. My friend got her dress there and she said the same thing as I experienced but she added that the alterations people are great and really help you with your dream dress.

I went back the next day and purchased my dress. It should be in THIS month!!!!!! =o) Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions!

I shopped there, but ended up getting my dress at Running of the Brides.
I really like the consultant (I think her name was Heather).  The dresses don't have the designer's tags, but they told me who the designers were when I asked.  They would not let you take pictures.  I thought their dress prices were reasonable, but I would definitely not buy accessories there - those prices seemed really high.

I recently went there to try on dresses. I found one I really liked but I wanted to keep looking a little bit and ended up finding one somewhere else (Crystal Bride) that I liked better. You are correct, they do not tell you the name of the designer. I even asked and the consultant said "she would find out for me" and then never followed up with me before I left. (also my fault for not asking again).

I know this weekend they are having a huge sale there... 10% off all dresses and clearance on some of the other dresses and sample dresses at 50%-75% off. They also have some bridesmaid and MOB dresses on clearance. I worked with Laurie and she was great, really knew what to pull for me when I told her what I was looking for.

    Good Luck!

I had 2 very positive experiences with Wolfsfeldts (or however you spell it).

My first time was for their sample sale last July. I tried on a bunch of different dresses (samples that were 75% off and custom made dresses). When I was torn between two dresses, my consultant encouraged me to buy the sample dress ($375) as opposed to the custom made dress ($1300). That must have hurt her commission, which really impressed me.

I went back a few months later for a veil when they were having one of their sales. I loved the consultant I had as well (different girl and I don't remember their names). We tried on probably 20 veils and I wound up falling in love with head piece as well.

Overall, I have had 2 very positive experiences and definitely recommend them.
