Why I am getting small checks done like my DJ brother in law and his friend possible photographer some one who offiacte the wedding and someone who may make the cake. But I can't find a venue or cater.

    What's been the main issue finding a venue?  How are you booking vendors without a firm wedding date?

    I would definitely nail down a venue ASAP. You might have all these vendors set for a date & find a place to actually get married & find out that date doesn't work.
