Anyone know of a one stop shop for photos and videos in the dc metro area?

    I'm still researching, but one that I came across is Washington Talent Agency. They do photography, videography, and can provide DJ/band as well. I can't make a recommendation on them one way or another since I'm still looking around, but you may want to check them out!

    My friend is getting married in may and recommended The Pro's, she got a great deal on photo/video/dj for right around $2k for everything.  I'm looking into it.

    Please be really really careful with the pros. The DJ part is allright, not spectacular but they have some decent ones. The video and the photo are not good. I have heard from so many people that their pictures were boring, even blurry. Other things I have heard was them canceling last minute or changing photographgers on you without you knowing. There is a reason why they are cheap.

    Generally you will be safer booking these vendors seperate, maybe fine one you like and see if they can give you recommendations of someone they know.

    I would go by what's the most important part to you. If it is music then choose a DJ first and go from there. If it's pictures then make sure to have a photog. that you really like and then find recs for affordable DJ's and Videographers.

    I am a supporter of The Pros....they do an excellent job. We have booked them for all three sevices for our April 2 wedding and have even met with each vendor to discuss our wants and needs. I know several people that have used them and have been extremely happy with the work. Go to one of the Customer Nights...I know there is one in Glen Burnie next week, check them out and you will like what you see.
    They told us the only time they have to switch out vendors is if there is an emergency with the one you contracted, and that is very rare.

    I agree that it is probably a much better idea to look for these services from separate vendors.
