Newbie, super excited for wedding!

Hi guys, I'm a newbie, I've posted a few times, but never my own thread. FI and I got engaged about three weeks ago, after being together for about six years. All of the planning is really tiring, but super exciting! So glad I found this site!

Heck, we were married already! :P But one day on my day off from work, I was pretty sick, after watching Say Yes To The Dress: Atlanta I'm still really shocked Denmark plays that, I realized just how happy those brides were. But I told myself, we don't need that. When FI got home from work, I was crying. He asked me what was wrong and I said, we never have to get married honey, we can stay in this forever. I was really hoping he would say no, but instead he dried my tears and calmed me down. But after a few days he had been really distant, and I worried that might have killed our relationship. About a week later, he asked if I wanted to go out for dinner. It was a nice April evening, April 30th, actually, and we ate, and he was his normal self. On the walk back home, he stopped me at the little garden before our block. This was where we had our serious talks. There were around thirteen aruments and six surprise gifts at this place.I was confused. After all this, he was dumping me? Then he held my face in his hands, kissed my forehead, love that feeling, and got down on one knee. I remember what he said so clearly... Leona Quinn, I have never met someone like you. These last six years have been so amazing, and I want more. I want that piece of paper declaring you mine, and I want that beach or vineyard wedding. I want a life with you, will you be my wife? I was stunned. He has never been able to profess his feelings that well before, he was a nerd, cooped up in his head, with math problems and possible cures for cancer in his head He's a biomedical chemist. I finally woke from my trance and said yes! We're thinking Gold and Ivory for the colours, and Paris or Bourdeaux for the place. There's a chateau in Bourdeax that my father's family has had for many generations, he's letting us use if we want. It's June 2nd, 2013!!
