Craigslist scares me.

When my mom died and we were searching for a pair of cemetery plots in a certain place my uncle called to tell me he'd found some on Craigslist. Well, I searched and searched and couldn't find what he was looking for. So he decided it was because I was "on that dang Mac" and brought his computer over to show me. No, not the dang Mac, it was because I can spell cemetery correctly that I couldn't find what he was looking at. We didn't go with one of those.

We get some of the strangest CL posts.

In this free section, there was a free pickle post. This guy just needed a jar, but a jar alone was more expensive than a jar of pickles. But he didn't like pickles. So he was giving away the pickles. He even added that he would wait until you arrive to open the jar so you know he didn't poison them.

Actually, that's a pretty good one. I've heard of people who want to start keeping bees that have a hive and need a colony. Also it's a terrible idea to poison/kill honeybees in a structure like that since they're the ones keeping that honey from flowing out all over everything. (anyone read Prodigal Summer?) I've seen it happen.

Heh heh. Don't worry.

Parent's first dog was pureblood. The sire's "father"/owner was even Art Linkletter. Frere Jacques was that weiner's name. He was a one person dog. My mom. I've got several scars to prove it.

They have a mini dapple now. She's a little high and mighty thing. It was quite fun to watch Max chase her all around the house. She'd growl and snap, and he'd think that meant she wanted to PLAY!!!!

I wish he could go with us in a couple of weeks. He and Andy would have an absolute ball.
