Hey everyone, I just wanted to write a quick comment on here about our first wedding anniversary and how picking the right vendors for your wedding day can pay off well into your future! I was married a year ago yesterday (July 31, 2010) and we were lucky enough to have our reception at the Westin. A few weeks ago I began planning my husbands anniversary gift and had the idea to surprise him with a stay at the Westin. I contacted Michael Burton, our prior wedding coordinator at the Westin, and asked for his help....needless to say he came through yet again for us by hooking us up with a beautiful suite for the night and champagn! I cannot say enough about the Westin....if you are looking for a venue, even if you think they will be expensive, please just go check them out and make sure you talk to Michael, HES THE BEST! I looked at about 20 places when I was planning and although there were a few that were less expensive, the Westin was pretty much on par with most places downtown price wise for what we wanted.
Also, my surprise anniversary gift from my husband was a replica of my wedding bouquet from our wedding flourist, Flourish Bespoke. Bart at Flourish did an amazing job yet again and I was completely blown away by his work! (see below for pictures). If you are looking for a flourist who can take your decor to the next level definitly check him out!
