    I'm using Melissa McClure and she is freaking awesome!  Not only is her work fantastic she is about the sweetest person you could ever come across - SO nice!

    Alexandra Oat photographed my wedding.  Very affordable, lots included in the packages for the prices, and she's young and very friendly.

    I'm using Susan with Bond Photography.  Definitely the most affordable person that I found in San Diego for a photography/videography package.  She has 20 some years of experience with wedding photography and is very talented.

    Must check out Josh Elliott at Lift Photography. I have had a few friends use him for family, engagement, and wedding photos. He is honest, reasonable, and professional!

    My brother got married last June and his photographer was so good, my (then) boyfriend (now fiance!) and I tentatively booked him even though we weren't even engaged yet!  He is based out of San Francisco, but is frequently in Santa Barbara, CA.  Our wedding is in Temecula June 2010, and he has no problem traveling for our big day :) 

    He is young and has great artistic ability.  He is also VERY personable and we loved how he spends enough time with the family to figure out who is "important" so that you end up with pictures of all the right people throughout the reception.  Check out his slide shows :)

    Oh yes, and Josh gives you the rights to all of your pictures, which is GREAT because you don't have to purchase the prints from him at $40+ a pop like some photographers charge.

    We used Melissa McClure (www.melissamcclure.com) and loved all of our photos. She had teasers for me the next day and we had our photos on disc (with full rights to print) a month after our wedding.     when i first saw our photographer's website i didn't think that they would be in our budget, we used Yasmine and DeShun with http://dapperimages.com - they are extremely talented, we got a disc of all of our images and our package was very reasonably priced.

    We used her for our engagement photos and they came out awesome! Her price on the website is $2500 but she gave us a great deal because she wanted to book up our date. Honestly it was a HUGE discount. She is definitely worth a look and a quick email to see if she can help you. Just tell her your budget she might make it work for you.
