Fun, vibrant, get the party started DJ recommendations?

Hi ladies,
I am really trying to find a good DJ. The music makes or breaks a wedding, so I am not worried about cost. I am more concerned with a DJ who knows what he is doing and really knows how to get the party started and keep the party going! I also want a DJ who will be knowledgeable and willing to play all generations of music. Let me know if you have any recommendations :)
Thanks!

We used Jason Wallace at Absolute Entertainment.  He was amazing!  He knows his music and how to keep the dance floor packed.  I've been to a few weddings with him as the DJ and he never disappointed.  I highly recommend him.

We used Evan Ritmyer of MyDeeJay.com.  I cannot say enough good things about him.  The company will get any song for you that they do not have in their expansive catalog at no extra cost.  I was really impressed with Evan's ability to keep the dance floor full and fun throughout the night with all age groups.  He was so much fun!

Um, whatever you do, don't use The Pros.  I have NEVER seen a single positive, even mediocre, review for them.

Thanks, I know. I have heard bad things about the pros too.

I'm using Derek Romanoff. (www.djderekromanoff.com) He did my sister's wedding back in June and he does an **awesome** job! Highly recommended.

O way I just realized from the other topic that we have the same wedding date, so Derek Romanoff isn't available. Sorry. Ha =)

I went to one of my friends weddings and the party was rockin all night.  The coctail hour was classy Frank Sinatra, Eva Cassidy, etc. and the reception was the perfect blend of oldies and newer music.  People of all ages danced all night long, no one was sitting.  I knew I was going to book the same DJ..and when I got engaged that was the first thing I did.

Check out Chris Laich..he's the best!
