I agree...come on Friday!! What is everybody doing this weekend?

Tonight we're going to a friend's house to do a fantasy football draft and to see their 4 day old sweet baby boy. Saturday we have a pool party, darts, and J has another fantasy draft. I think he has an addiction--he has already done at least 30 online drafts along with 3 live drafts when it is all said and done. At least he hasn't gone so far to get the fantasy football 'insurance'. That ish is whack!
  • I'm working, working, working, but we do have a family party in Decatur on Sunday that I'll be trying out TWO pinterest recipes with.
Then back to work on Monday. Boo.
And H is going to be gone filming.

We went to The Gingerman in Dallas last weekend, and there was a table of at least 10 people, all with computers, sitting around "drafting".  Wish I had taken a picture of that! <div>
</div><div>No plans for us, which excites me!  Plan on being on the lake all weekend, and spending time my with BFF's new twin babies.  </div><div>
</div><div>OH, I do get to Paddleboard this weekend, I'm excited to try that! </div>

I need to stop making Pinterest recipes.  The deserts are about to kill us!!
  • I haven't figured anything out yet. DH will be in New Orleans filming- and on his birthday too. I'll probably just catch up on some work and loathe international house hunters. Also, the dogs are due for a trip to the dog park so this will be a must :)
  • My fiance is FINALLY moving to the DFW area from College Station! Yay!

The only bad news is, we're having a really hard time finding a subleaser for our duplex in College Station so we might have to keep paying rent on it :(

I am excited to try the cactus bites and the fried bacon cinnamon roll!

I am flying up to VA tomorrow night after work to see my family. There's a giant flea market that is set up every year for Labor Day weekend close to our house, so that's where I'll be for at least half of my trip. Hopefully we'll fix the internet tonight so FI is not stuck inside the house all weekend with crazy furbabies.

</div><div>We're checking out the Belo Mansion as a possible wedding venue on Saturday. FI has family in the Dallas Bar Association, so we'll see what kind of deal that gets us. Has anyone been to a wedding there? I think it has potential if we can fit our reception into the mansion (their event coordinator said we'd fit, though I'm not sure if it would require our group to be split into different rooms). If we have to go to the Pavillion, I think it will be pushing our budget more than I'm comfortable with.</div><div>
</div><div>Other than that, we'll be continuing to acclimate our new rescue puppy to the household. We're on day 3 with no accidents! Woo! (Though I hope I didn't just jinx that.)</div><div>

  • My sister's law firm had their annual Christmas party at the Belo Mansion every year, and it sounded like everyone was pretty much spread out from room to room. I've never been, but thats the impression I got. I bet it would be gorgeous though!
