Wedding Woes

Another random.

If you were caught on the side of the road, in a blizzard ,with a non-functioning car for three days which camp would you fall.

The wait for help in the car.
or
Start walking 20 miles to the highway in your pea coat and tennis shoes in search of help.

I ask because I was watching a show where the couple was going home for a funeral with their 9 month old son. The car broke down, and all they had to eat was fruit cake for 3 days. The mom breast fed the baby, but help wasn't coming.

What says you?

I saw this one, too. I would wait in the car, because I know myself - I would get lost and then freeze to death.

I'm a wait kind of girl too, but I guess you never know until you are in the situation.

He did find help, but they both lost all of their toes.

i'd wait. I'd rather freeze to death in my car and NOT get eaten by an animal then freeze to death outside and then get eaten.

I would hope my cell phone was working so I could call for help and then probably stay put.

Wzz, if I know I'm running from heated space to heated car to heated space, I often leave the house w/o a jacket.  However, FL has yet to see a blizzard.

I would send H and stay in the car w/the baby.

Um.  Can a person really walk well without toes?

They wrapped their feet in plastic that came with their dry cleaned clothes, and put on layers of shirts and sweaters.

The baby made out the best, because he was zipped up in one of those coat/bag things. Plus they said babies can't shiver, so the blood goes to the vital organs to keep him alive. It was interesting.

    Yikes.

This is why snacks are always necessary on road trips.

This is why I have a pair of snoboots, a blanket, and a small 'emergency kit' in my car.
Because I commute over an hour each way through crappy areas.
