Morning,

Today is my Friday! I am so excited!
anyways I didn't do much last night my mom and I worked on stuff again but mostly the invitations.
she didn't add anyone to the guestlist today so that is a plus!
I got home late so I just picked up arby's and went to bed.

Good morning!

I woke up early enough to do a load of laundry, and take the dog on a loooong walk. Now I have an hour to kill before I go to work.

I've been watching shows on Amazon (using prime/instant watch), but I think I'm all caught up on current seasons and now I don't know what to watch next. I watched Dr. Who and Sherlock, and am toying with starting Merlin. I also read a ton, but I've read everything by my go-to authors and don't have any books I'm excited about coming out until April. First world problems, but I need some recs!

Also, Community (the TV show) starts their new season tonight!

Good morning apple! Just getting moving. I have a meeting this morning at 11. Going to watch some lecture videos before that. Chance of up to 25cm of snow starting tonight, they were wrong on Tuesday though so I have my fingers crossed.

Hi ladies! I've been reading in the morning, so I just finished Girls in White Dresses and I was disappointed. Not worht the $10. It was just snippets and nothing really happended.

Have a couple things to do before the gym and work tonight.

Sunshine, I watched that pretty regularly when it first came on, but there was some sort of break in the airing (for Christmas or sports or something) and I just never started again. I might have to. Also, if you want to read a wedding-y book, I recommend the Bride Quartet by Nora Roberts. It's a set of four romance novels, and follows four close female friends that started a wedding business. Each one has a particular talent, that just happens to fall in completely with doing weddings (photographer, florist, and so on). Everybody falls in love, which I have to admit is one of my favorite things, but I love how the female friendships are portrayed, and that is what really carries the series for me. The books are also out in mass market paperback now, and you can probably find them in a used bookstore for $4.

Those are actually on my list! One of my New Years Resolutions was to read more consistantly and 20 books in 2013. I read A LOT in the summer, but not so much other times. I'm 3 books down, so far.

dtb - I love Jen Lancaster. She's a humorist and writes nonfiction about her life. It's so funny.

Only was able to watch one episode of Downton last night, but it was a finale so it was over an hour. I went running with my mom and then she took me to dinner so I didn't have much downtime.

Tonight, thought, it's all about Downton. I hope to get about 3 episodes in. My life is consumed right now.

H flies in at 6am tomorrow (taking the red eye)! He will be working the few days he is back but YAY for a little bit of together time!

Morning! I am excited for more Mardi Gras parades tonight. I do like Nora Roberts so I may have to download those books or see if I can find them at goodwill! Eta. Swag, yay for H being home!

Swag, yay for together time!

I got my new phone last night, but our internet is so awful that it's taking forever just to set up. Ugh!

-41 this morning, and my car didn't start. It was plugged in too, which is weird. It's the only time I've ever asked FI to start my car before he leaves, and it's a good thing too, or I would have had a very brisk walk to work this morning! He gave me a boost, and it was all good. I hate plugging it in at work though. My goal is to get into the building as quickly as possible, not to be fiddling with outdoor plugs!

Hope you're wrong about your storm, Apple, although I have to admit, my extra long weekend was sweet!

Morning!

Today is also my Friday because I'm taking off tomorrow because H is having surgery. I'll have to drive him to and from the hospital and take care of him all weekend. It's a double hernia surgery, so he will be uncomfortable and in some pain for a few days. Unfortunately we're supposed to get around 6 inches or more of snow this weekend and I'll have to do all the shoveling/snow blowing.

dtb - We just started watching Sherlock and are loving it. This series is old news, but did you watch Lost when it was on? If not, that's a fun one. I have some friends who love Downtown Abby, maybe one of these days we'll watch it. We also have never watched Mad Men despite all it's praise.

I need to read more too. I got a Nook color for Xmas in 2011. When I first got it, I was super in to it and read like 10 books in a row. But now, not so much. I love "chick-lit" books...Something Borrowed, Something Blue. I also really loved the 50 shades trilogy so I am thinking I should start the Bared to You books. This may be a little late for a resolution, but from here on out, I am going to read more.
Other than that, Im stuck at work till 5pm. Blahh. I forgot to pull something out for dinner, so it looks like leftovers or a pizza.
My FI super cleaned the entire house yesterday before I came home. I love coming home to a clean house. I gotta say, he may not be the best at picking up after himself, but when it comes time to really clean, hes awesome. I love saturdays because those are the days we clean together. Put some music on really loud and just clean for a few hours. Other than that, during the week we take it upon ourselves to do what needs done. I guess we make a pretty good team.
My boss just scolded me for forgetting to turn in my time sheet. Oopps.
So happy its Thursday! One day closer to the weekend.

Buzz -- good luck to your hubby! Hope the snow storm isn't too bad -- we're supposed to get 4-8 inches here tonight.

I bought two pairs of Vivienne Westwood shoes yesterday, hopeing one of them is perfect for the wedding. Save the date proofs should arrive tomorrow, but our mailbox is frozen shut (??) so our mail is being held hostage at the post office.

Jenny - in regards to misssunshine's post, being a teacher, you know grammar better than me - so you are correct that I was wrong. Reading it over again I see the mistake. I've offered another variation that might work.
