Chris O'Hare Rave!

I know there has been some discussion about Chris over the last week, so I wanted to give an update on how my fitting went.

This was my 3rd fitting... I'll probably end up having 5. The reason being is that I've lost a ton of weight between fittings and from when I originally bought the dress. She has taken in my dress, at least 4 sizes, and is making it a well defined fit and flare... before it was an a-line and well, looked like a sack.

She has done a great job so far and IMO, is a very talented seamstress. While I know someone had a bad experience with her I truly feel that this must have been a freak incident because she has done absoutely fantastic work on my dress.

In addition to working on my dress, she is also adding a blusher to my veil.

    Great to hear! I'm going there at the end of Sept. for first fitting. I decided to stick with her as well despite that one incident. It seems to be the only negative thing I can find on her!

    Not only did she only get the one negative review that I've read, I cannot believe how cheap my alterations are going to be! I had forgotten to ask her at the first fitting (bad bride!) but on the second one I asked and was SHOCKED how inexpensive it was.

    For me it's just getting over the chaos in her work room, but it was much neater at my second one.

    I agree that Chris is awesome. I am going for my 3rd fitting on Monday and so far she has done an awesome job on my dress. She is also making me a bolero from fabric I bought her and has done a great job on it so far.

    I'm going for my first fitting on Monday. It's good to hear the nice reviews. I didn't see the negative one.

    I just picked up my dress from Chris last week and she did an AMAZING job!  I too lost weight and had to have my dress altered 3 sizes, and after 3 fittings she had it PERFECT.  I can not say enough good things about her.
