I could use some suggestions! :-)

My fiance and I live in Worthington and are just beginning the wedding planning process. This is the 2nd marriage for both of us so we are looking for something very small and simple, just the two of us for the ceremony.

I was very active on theknot when I was planning my first wedding and everyone was so helpful!! So I thought I'd try my luck again.

I'm kind of thinking just the 2 of us outdoors somewhere. Maybe Inniswood Metro Park in Westerville? Thats the only place I've thought of so far but I'm definitely open to other ideas.

Also, anyone have any suggestions for a non-demoninational officant? We don't want anything fancy. Just us, the officiant, and someone to take some pictures. We're thinking about having the ceremony on a Saturday afternoon, leaving immediately to fly to florida and leave on a caribbean cruise, and have a small reception when we get back.

I'd love to hear from anyone that has had a similar ceremony or anyone that has any suggestions!

THANKS LADIES!!! :-)

i just coordinated SO's sister's wedding. she and her husband wanted a super small ceremony and fell in love with the courthouse wedding chapel on mound and high. their officiant is reverend jay and he is so nice. ceremony was non-denominational and quick but tailored to the bride and groom. we had a great experience there. you could call jay and see if he would marry you in a park somewhere. he was so cool.
    good luck!

There's an area at Franklin Park Conservatory called the Brides Garden that is very small and intimate, I bet it would be perfect for what you want.
