I know this may sound so petty or even bridezillish, but I think that I'm gonna have a nervous breakdown over it.  I want to strangle 3 of my bridesmaids.  2 of them dyed their hair hot pink and my MOH decided that it was a good idea to get a tattoo on her neck.  Normally I don't care about what people do with their bodies.  Hair is only hair it can be made to be any color, but the wedding is 7 weeks away and they have hot pink hair.  I don't want to look at that 30 years from now and see my BM's with pink hair.  And as for the tattoos, I have several of them and I am not against them.  But why in the world would you tattoo your neck?  She is planning on wearing her hair up and it will show in the pictures.  I am having the one on my back airbrushed so that it doesn't show the day of the wedding.  I have already had a a trial for my make up and you can't even see it when she is done.  Would it be too much to ask her to do the same?

    She will probably be more open minded about the airbrushing if you are willing to pay for it. She may also be able to cover it with some kind of makeup. If she is reluctant I wouldn't push, at the end of the day there are worse things that could happen. I don't know much about editing photos, but if thats all youre worried about maybe your photographer could edit the tatoo out.

    As for the hair, they may dye it to a natural color in that time on their own, but if not I don't think theres much you can do. The hair color won't show in black and white pictures at least.

    I would shy away from asking people to change their appearance for your wedding.   While it may not be what you would choose they are grown adults.  Would you ask somebody with a beard to shave for the wedding?   Dying hair, tattoos, piercings etc are an expression of who a person is.  Asking them to change that is like saying I don't approve of who you are, I would like you better if you liked this way.

    Having tattoo if you offered to pay I wouldn't be offended. I say ask. The hot pink hair idk about that one. I pray they put it back for you

    Like PPs have said, I don't think there's a polite way to ask anyone to change their physical appearance.  The neck tattoo is one thing, it may not be distracting and can easily be edited out of photos if you want.  I'm at a loss for the pink hair.  I would think they have thought it through as bridesmaids and plan on switching back by the end of the summer on their own?  If not, I can't figure out a good way to say that these are your best friends, you love them for who they are, pink hair and all.  If nothing else, your pictures will be a reminder of how unique and individual they all are and why you chose them to be in your bridal party!  Good luck!
