Tanning!

Hi all!

I am looking for somewhere to go for spray tanning / airbrushing before my wedding.  Does anyone have any recommendations for where to go? Or any places I should definitely NOT go because of a bad experience you have had? Any opinions would be great! Thank you!!

I have heard good things about Mystic Tans (Tanning??) but have never used them. I think they are a chain and have a website you can check out. HTH!

I wonder if Prince William and Kate are registered at Target?

I have been to Maui Tan in Vinings and it was fine.  They have the Mystic MyMyst spray tan booth.  Also if you go to this website you can get a coupon for buy 1 get 1 free http://www.tanningnearyou.com/p/localcom/maui-tan-atlanta-georgia2.html

Not sure if you have done a spray tan before but I personally like to just get the level 1 tan.  I find that level 2 is easy to mess up the hand/foot area if you don't do it exactly right.

Spa Sydell in Atlanta did a great job for me.
Do NOT go to a business called 'Diamond Air Brush Tan' which is a woman operating out of a hair salon. She's a scam artist. She charged me more than quoted and also convinced me to allow her hair stylist friend to give me a quick trim (on dry hair, just a quick snip of the scissors) and guess how much my bill was for that, $70.00! Only because he's the 'owner of the salon so he's the best'... I was fooled by them and partially blame myself for not asking enough questions.

If you'd rather not do air brush and do something cheaper like Mystic Tan at Palm Beach Tan or some other tanning salon, then let me know and I can give you great tips on how to make sure the tan turns out perfectly! :)

Although I have been known to dabble in the spray tans, I wouldn't recommend it for your wedding unless you are getting married in the dead of winter. If it is possible to lay out and get tan for real, I would do that!

Here's why, my MIL spray tanned and looked SCARY. Also, photographers HATE spray tan, it throw off your coloring and it is hard to doctor photos that someone has sprayed tan in. Last, it comes off when you sweat. One of my friends got it all over her dress before her ceremony even started!

Be careful and consider all options before jumping in the booth!
