So... I was watching 4 weddings on TLC (i think that's what it was called) earlier tonight. One of the four brides was marrying a man who already had a daughter, which made me think of you and the question you posted/asked about how to honor your daughter. Well, they gave her a necklace and the bride read vows to the daughter. It was absolutely adorable and touching! So, I think the ideas you had are going to be great.
