Took a nice day trip to coloma, ca and think we have found the church...but the vistor center was closed so we got no info about pricing...which sucks! Im really hoping its in our price range!! Also checked out some restraunts for tge reheseral dinner, and some cabins and bed and breakfasts for wedding night and out of town guests. Picked up my dress from alterations..they fixed the tear yay... Wow got alot done today lol. Its so bed time! Tomorrow onto grass valley search for venue..hopefully we wont need to. Maybe stop in coloma first to get some pricing info!

    Oh wow, that is a lot to be done in one day! We haven't even thought about the rehearsal dinner or the hotel for wedding night yet! I think for rehearsal dinner we'll just do it at my parents' back yard to save up some money, but no idea about the wedding night hotel at all. Good luck looking for venues today, keep us updated on how it goes!

    yay on getting things accomplished!

    I just read and commented on your post from a few days ago...did you guys come up with a list of pros/cons and what you want for the wedding? Did you figure out a date that will be 'better' for everyone? Smile

    haha i love the quotes around better lol. Ya we picked june 6, its still close to our anniversary, before his sisters dance thing, in ca where my parents want it and the old time vintage western them. We are all in love with the ideas going around. His mom offered to pay for the rehearsel dinner..WOW. We arent even going to the other venue we were looking at. I talked to the wedding corrdinator today, shes mailing a packet out. And we talked a little about the prices...the church DEFINITLY in our price range, not just because i love it and say so, it really is! Theres 5 reception venues we are looking at, two of them are a heck no! The other three we have appts with next friday, we are also getting a babysitter for the little one and we are gonna have dinner and check out the food at the rehearsel dinner restraunt. So...ya...looks like we are all agreeing finally
