Inexpensive Bridal Gowns

If you are looking for a inexpensive wedding gown and have an idea of what style you want and the size you need, definitely check out this vender on ebay: http://shop.ebay.com/swaj1956/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25. The dresses are updated often and most are $200 or under. :) I purchased my gown from her in January for 130 bucks. Figured, if I hated it, I could sell it. However, it totally exceeded my expectations! Honestly, I'm in LOVE with my dress (... an Allure, strapless, lace gown)!!! I seriously stare at it a couple times a week, when my fiance is at work. ;) It was so much prettier than the picture, in perfect condition and still had the $1100 price tag attached!! It is a little big, but with the money I saved, I can afford alterations (... and I won't have to crash diet... ha, ha). Apparently, the vender's friend owns a bridal shop in Scottsdale (not sure which one) and she sells the sample gowns from the shop on ebay. I was also able to pick up the dress in Anthem and avoid shipping.

It sounds too good to be true - have you tried on your wedding dress yet?  Is the quality good?

Realize, that if you do sell your dress after the wedding, that it'll be a copy of a designer dress, but not a brand name.

Good job though if you found your wedding dress!

I know, totally sounds too good to be true, but the dresses aren't copies made in China. They're actual sample gowns from a bridal shop that the vendor is selling on ebay. As I mentioned, the seller lives in Anthem (... apparently, her friend owns a bridal shop in Scottsdale, but she didn't tell me which one). I actually met her in Deer Valley and picked up the dress to avoid shipping costs. I bought my dress in January. I've tried it on several times. I attached some not very flattering pictures taken with my friend's camera phone below (... that's not a stain on the train, it's a shadow from my foot). Originally, the seller didn't list the designer on the post, but I eventually found the Allure tag between the corset and dress lining, when I brought it home. Seriously, the dress is well made with boning and everything and the lace is gorgeous in person. Again, it totally exceeded my expectations. Just sayin', this seller's legit, if anyone is looking for an inexpensive dress that's not a copy made in China. I took a risk, it totally paid off and I just thought I'd share with everyone in case it helps anyone out. :)
