  Hello hello! Sorry for my slow response. We toured three places on Friday, 12/23, then I went into full Christmas gear after that. Now I'm back.
  
  We toured these three venues:
  - Grand Ballroom and the Great Hall in Bartle Hall
  - The Town Pavilion
  - The Sayer Room
  
  I really will have to sit down and make a pros and cons list of all the notes I took and all the information the event reps provided me. Also, when we head back to KC in the spring, I want to plan tours of more venues. (Justin and I are both originally from KCMO but now live and work in Wisconsin.)
  
  Here are the rough details that I would like in a venue:
  - 300 capacity
  - Downtown or Plaza areas so they are located in a fairly central location in KC
  - Preferably, I'd like a place with high ceilings and also a venue with the option of bringing in an outside caterer and your own alcohol
  
  And the other places I'd like to consider:
  - The Midland
  - Kauffman Performing Arts Center
  - Pennway Place/Studio Dan Meiners
  - Californos
  - Hobbs Building
  - Intercontinental Hotel on the Plaza
  - Crowne Plaza downtown
  - And Union Station, even though I've attempted to contact them multiple times during the past few weeks and haven't heard a single thing back ...
  
  If you have any info about the places I toured, or other suggestions, I'd love to hear!
