Bridal Shower Help :)

So this is my first post !!!
My family is doing everything for the shower however I am in charge of picking the place out. I live in Clarkston, MI and the shower will be in early May. I want something a little casual, I know that I want to bring in our own food and have my family members bring a tray of food as well. I am just a little lost on somewhere to have the shower. I am concerned that Early May is too early to do an outdoor tent shower because of how unpredictable the weather is.. but I do not like having a typical banquet hall shower. Does anyone know of somewhere in the area that I could rent out and bring in my own food and alcohol... or does anyone have any suggestions for casual showers in general for some guidance?

Thanks for your help!!!! I have to find somewhere in the next month or so due how busy I will be during the next school year!

I had my shower at a tea room and it was really nice.  They served soup, salad, sandwiches and had a dessert bar.  They had tea, pink lemonade or soda and we were able to bring in our own wine.  They tea room had a really pretty atmosphere so we did not have do decorate or bring any paper products.  My aunt said it was the easiest shower she's ever done.  You might try somehwere like that.
