AW: Lots of Checks! :)

So we went home this weekend and we...
- survived picking out the men's tuxes. For some reason it took us an hour and a half to get it all figured out at Men's warehouse. FI is going to look hot! :)
- we tried to dodge the rain on Sunday and got our e-pics taken. It was great to meet Kristen Honeycutt- she is sweet. I hope we were able to get some good ones despite the rain. Pray that my hair didn't freak out. Now just waiting for about a month to see them.
- FI and I met with the pastor that is going to marry us. I know him but he wanted to get to know FI. It was very fun, he is an awesome guy!
- Fi's parents came up to see the venue and I got to visualize the layout again.
- I went and tried on a sample of my dress and tried on veils. I'm thinking about leaning towards a cathedral length one tier.
- We also went and looked at one of the hotels we reserved rooms at and we tried to look at a room at the Tulalip Casino but they said they were full.

It was pretty successful weekend! :)

    Yay! tons of checks! Great job! We need to start looking at Men's Warehouse.

    Did they say you were doing it early? Or did they say it was a good thing you came in?? because taht would mean we need to go by like next week... :)

    Sarack.. we went on Friday and they didn't say anything about it being early. They did say it was early for kids but if I remember correctly there aren't any kids in yours, right?

    Thanks! Sara I think they said we had time but from what I understand GM still have to go in and get initally measured and put down a $20 deposit and then two weeks before they'll get checked again. Seems weird. Also, we had to decide what to do with the $400 credit for ordering more than 5 tux rentals. You might as well get it started because you'll have to wait for everyone to get their butts in there to get measured.

    Congrats on all of the checks!!  I'm sure the e-pics will be great!

    Sarack - we went to Men's Wearhouse last month (just to get it out of the way) and the GM have until 2 weeks before the wedding to get measured.  They can get measured any time between now and then, but they recommend that kids wait until the month before.  I think they said that they would call me a month before and let me know who is still outstanding so that FI could nudge them.
