My lovely brides

Re: My lovely brides

I cannot believe how fast time goes. Soon next month we will have been engaged for a year. EEK! My goal is to FINALLY finish and mail out my STDs the week/end. I've been insanely busy with work. Our wedding is 5.6 so gotta get them out, but everyone knows anyways. I also just booked a makeup trial with Jill (of JKFlashy) for this Saturday afternoon - so excited! I tried someone before and was not too thrilled with how it came out. She seems to be so highly recommended. Now that I finally have time I will begin to make our invitations (yes I am making them all), oh and programs. I love to scrapbook and do stamping so its a hobby for me!

Limos or transportation in Dutchess County - definately a need. Any recomm?

    TIA! :)

I'm late w/ my std's but oh well. I'll get them out by the end of the month. I wittled down my list and only sending std's to all the "definites" I'm in a quandry about pissing a friend off at work. We had a falling out. She pretty much changed on me from the moment I got engaged so she for one isn't getting a std.  Next on my list is booking the HM. It's a toss up between Secrets Maroma Beach and Secrets in Playa Del Carmen. We were going to do a cruise by nixed the idea and will wait when my FI has more vacation time.

I still need a one way limo svc. I'm not sure I wanna go w/ the the one I booked?

I decided to change the hotel I'm leaving from -- Was going to leave from the Hyatt Summerfield Suites -only drawback is that everyone is going back to the hotel after the wedding and unfortuantely there's no loung there. It was going to cost me an arm and a leg just to rent a room. Thankfully because of all the posts here I am now going to leave from The Renaissance Hotel in Westchester. I think it's a better / smarter choice and I got a good deal. Now all I have to do is stop worrying about everyone -- how their going to ge there after the wedding etc etc.

*Jamie btw ...Congrats on your weight loss -- wooohoooo!

I think I'm doing well in the planning process. I'm actually proud to say that the whole time I think I prioritized pretty well. I'm not afraid to ask questions to anyone I know who has got married and on here, which gives a lot of insight on what you may be wondering about. Ordering stuff online has been really convenient! I did all the booking first to lock in our date, then all the other projects and stuff I'm working on little by little. I'm in a good place :) Not getting overly stressed just pacing myself and asking for help if I need it. Mom, sis, BM's, FI, FMIL.... have been AMAZING, I am blessed :)

After the initial craziness of booking all my major vendors, I am happy to be relaxing a bit and taking it slow with the rest of the planning.  :)
