French Polynesia in December?

We were planning on going to FP in December, but I have been looking around on some websites and the weather doesnt look great.  Some people say weather is great and the next say its rainy.  Anyone planning on going in Dec?

    No, but we're going in March, and it's also in what's considered "rainy season".  From what I've read, and what I've experienced in a lot of other tropical climates, I think it may rain, but in short bursts throughout the day.  I don't think it's going to be a constant torrential downpour or anything.

    We are leaving Nov. 29th and returning Dec. 12th. I've heard it is similar to Hawaii. Short burst of rain and then sun.
    Check Tripadvisor for more info- it looks pretty nice to me!
