Hi, I'm new-ish here. My wedding is September 16th (yep, a Sunday).  It's a second marriage for us both. I'm really getting excited as it draws closer.

And tomorrow I'm dress shopping with my mom (for her dress).

    Smalish wedding. Probably 70-80 people will attend.  We are having a church wedding and reception at a local Irish pub actually. I could use suggestions of how to soften up all the dark wood. We are an older couple (46 & 54) and our children (ages 19-23) will be our attendants.

    I'll try to upload my dress. I think I'll have the train shortened. Still need shoes and jewlery. I've been working out like crazy and feel pretty good about the results. I have to becare not to slack off these last couple months.

    I love your dress!  Your wedding sounds so nice.  We're looking at about 175 people at ours which is small in terms of FI's family (they're used to 300+ person weddings).  The Irish Pub sounds really cool too.  I think I would go for a lot of candles that might help to soften the dark wood, I'm by no means an interior decorator though.
