Chicago Knottie Honeymooning in TN

Good evening ladies! I'm hoping you can help me out a bit. We're taking our honeymoon in Nashville & Gatlinburg Nov 30-Dec 4. I'm hoping that you can fill me in on all the hot spots. We are staying at the Renaissance in downtown Nashville. Could you clue me in to a really good steak restaurant, as well as some casual, fun, places to eat breakfast or lunch. We'll also need the fun things to do and best places to eat in Gatlinburg.  We love country music, and there really isn't anything we aren't interested in. I really appreciate your help!-Shana

In Gatlinburg there is some fun shopping along the strip through town.  It's basically a walking town.  You park and all the restaurants and stores are along the road.   The Ripley's Aquarium is fun, and if you have time, take the sky tram up to Ober Gatlinburg.  All the christmas light displays are up now, so you'll see some pretty lights as you walk or take the sky tram.

As for restaurants...Check out Calhoun's or the Smoky Mountain Brewery (owned by the same peeps)

    Happy Honeymooning!!

snokey mountain brewery for sure! as well as calhouns, calhouns being the fancier of the two.
also an ABSOLUTE MUST DO is The Apple Barn. They have two resteraunts on the orchard as well as a winery and a couple of gifts shops. Go to the farm house resteraunt at the end, its the better of the two.
Also in Gatlinburg go to the arts and crafts community for more unique shopping than just the downtown strip. it has a website, you can google it.
And in Gatlinburg you are very close to Knoxville so if you are looking for nicer resteraunts they have a lot more, they even have a ruths chris.

Hello!  I am so sorry I did not see your post sooner!  I know this info probably doesnt do you any good now BUT!!  if you ever go back to Nashville you must go to the Big Band Dueling Piano Bar in downtown (maybe you already did) and the Stockyard Steak House is our favorite!!  We love to go to Nashville and always hit up those spots as well as stay at the Renaissance in downtown Nashville!  It is our favorite hotel and will actually be spending our wedding night there.  We have lots of memories there.  I hope you had a beautiful wedding and a fantastic Honeymoon!!!  Congratulations!!!

So now I have a question........what can you suggest to do for fun and good places to eat in Chicago?  My fiance is going to NIU Law in Dekalb so I am trying to figure out what is good to do there! Thanks!!  alohababy27@yahoo.com
