String Quartet?

The next thing on my to do list is finding a string quartet to play the music at our ceremony.  We want to play more contemporary music, so they would probably need to be willing to learn new pieces.  So far I found one that seems good, but they're a little pricey.  Did anyone use a group that they really liked?

I think there is one on the recommended list and you could also try www.pittsburghmusiclive.com

Sterling Strings of Shenango is the vendor on the recommended list. I used them for my ceremony- had a trio of flute, cello, and violin; they also have duos and quartets. Their music list is pretty traditional though. I believe you have to pay $40 extra for them to learn a new song (at least that's what is was when I booked over 2 years ago).

Steve Ehrlich Strings. I don't know if he charges extra for learning other songs, but I do know his quartet recently learned the "Linus & Lucy" theme for a wedding.
