Hair & make-up pricing

The DOC, Anna Noriega from Alore Event Firm, that I'm using has her own hair & make-up company (Alore Ink).  I asked her how much it'd be for me and my bridal party for hair & make-up.  She said:

Regular prices are on line and would be:$95 for the bride per service and $75 for each additional person per service. But since you are already using us for another service I can lower to $85 for the bride per service and $65 for each additional person per service and include individual lashes for everyone (usually an additional $10)
Is that good pricing or is that expensive?

    It's ooooookay but not great.  My budget for hair AND makeup is $150.  Just so you know, Anna also quoted the same price for me.

    Ooh okay.  Thanks, I'm not sure my budget on hair & make-up yet, but I am with a pretty tight budget.  Did you find someone yet?

    So she means $85 for hair and $85 for makeup? That totals $169 which is a pretty good deal, IMO!

    That isn't bad, but do you want a trial and, if so, how much is that costing? Mine was $250, and includes hair and makeup trial, hair and makeup, eye lashes, and air brushing.

    My makeup and hair for the day of is $200...My hair and makeup trial was $125 so I think its a good deal.

    Thanx for the info., Ladies.  The tough thing is that I'm up in NJ and won't be in Miami until a day or two before the wedding, so I'm trying to go by reviews.  The reviews I read for them seem good so far.

    I have the same issue too! I live in NY and my wedding is in Miami... I wish I could do a trial!  I'm really going by my fellow Knotties' recommendations!

    Same here, I really wish I could do a trial, but I'll trust my stylist *fingers crossed*  :-)  The Knotties recommendations have been super helpful so far!

    For make up I'm using Heather w/ Lashful - she's amazing - she did my trial for $20 and she deducts that out of the "day of" cost too if you book her for your wedding.  So on my wedding day i'll pay her $30.
    For hair, my girl charges $125 for brides & $100 for BM's.
