Hawaiian wedding! Please help!

Hi everyone! I am new to the knot and am planning to get married in August 2012. It's a ways away but I am starting to plan now! I am leaning towards getting married in Maui (I have heard great things). I want to get married on the beach in a beautiful setting (most likely sunset) and secluded area ( this does not have to be in Maui but any suggestions?). I do not plan on having more than 15 people attend the ceremony. Originally I was planning on taking the cruise around the hawaiian islands, for our honeymoon, but now I am thinking of trying something different. My Fiance and I have been dating for about 7 years and we really would like some great pictures. I would like to visit some areas in Hawaii that the cruise does not visit. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Congrats and welcome to the board! I don't have any suggestions for Maui or a beach weddings, but you shouldn't have any trouble finding beautiful locations for pictures on any of the islands. Good luck planning.

I am getting married in Maui in september 2012.  This is the comapny that I decied to go with. http://www.mauiwedding.net/index.php My fiance and I decided on this company because of the photographers attached to them.  Take a look at the photography, (their site is one of the few i found in maui that allow you to look at whole weddings online).

Im getting married in 4 days in Maui!  Here is what im doing.  I used www.preciousmauiweddings.com to help plan my event.  There is a total of 15 guest coming.  Location is Makena Cove in maui.  Deanne has been my coordinator and she has been really helpful in planning my wedding.  And we are doing a Hawaiian cruise for out honeymoon.  But just because you do a cruise doesnt meant you have to book excursions through them.  Honestly I have only booked one through the cruise line the others I booked independently.  And in most cases the cruise line excursions are more expensive.  I work with people everday and I was able to talk to people and get recommendations.  Also I bought a Frommers Hawaii book that gave awesome suggestions.  Hope this helps!  Good Luck!
